Also Disney needs to step up and do better to advocate for the safety and well-being of its LGBT+ employees, creators and fans by /not/ using their world-changing massive funds to bankroll politicians who would strip rights and protections away from them. ❤️ No matter how much they flirt with allowing a sliver of representation in their movies, it means nothing if they’re funding the people who would see them, and thousands of lgbt+ children, suffer.

I love the idea of one day going into a store and seeing my work printed on a kid’s journal or a fun t-shirt—speaking from personal experience, sometimes it’s these silly, seemingly inconsequential things that make a dark day just a little brighter.
